Yeeeaaah...so I've been completely useless at updating for a LONG time now. I could come up with my ream of excuses, but as no-one on my family has died or been told they have some sort oc chronic/deadly disease and there hasn't been a zombie apocalypse and I don't have a superhero alter-ego, I guess that no excuse is really good enough.

I will try to surprise you with an update in the near future (or just put up the D&D art I've been working on if I'm feeling lazy).

So that was delightful holiday season! Home with parents (and the zillion sisters) followed by New Year's eve party in a flat overlooking the London Eye and Big Ben. Saw the WHOLE fireworks display from the comfort of indoors. Win!

You will have noticed that there have been no new comics since Christmas, but they are on the way. I now have a new scanner (thanks Ed!) and some dual tip professional marker pens for some (hopefully) nice new artwork. Final piece of the puzzle is the new sketchbook which will be purchased tomorrow. I've exhausted all the old AOP comics from uni, so updates will now be limited slightly. I'll try for Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a fantastic new year!

20th Dec 2010, 9:27 AM Holidays! What to do...

Hello- I've been playing around with PAINT.NET (http://www.getpaint.net/) and tried recolouring some of TAOP's previously B&W comics. I'll upload them if I feel pleased with them, so have another flick through if you find yourself with a free moment.

Bless my darling boyfriend- not only does he build me an awesome PC and give me 24 hour (more or less) free IT advice, but also treats me to step-by-step personal tutorials for free software he's found for me. While he was helping me with the latest strip (which will be released on 21/12/10), he made his own version. I thought it only right and fair to post it online for all to see!

18th Dec 2010, 3:13 AM Snow

I always thought that I'd only ever be really grown up if I looked out of the window, saw a blizzard of snowflakes and thought 'What a bloody nuisance!'. But if truth be told, I think I'll always find snow a little bit special. It looks pretty as it falls, covers up all that boring looking concrete and tarmac and provides us with the perfect excuse for a pyjama day.

Unless there's no milk. That's when snow REALLY gets my goat.
